Terms of Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own language learning. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the app or its content except as permitted by law.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to create an account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

Classroom accounts are different.A teacher may create accounts for their students, who receive a username and a password rather than signing up. A student does not create an account and the age requirement above does not apply to them. A teacher who creates student accounts confirms they are doing so for their own students, under their school’s authority, and is responsible for any parental notice or consent their school requires. Teachers may rename or delete the accounts they create at any time.

The app offers a free tier and an optional Premium subscription that unlocks unlimited access to all features and content. Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription at the following prices (in U.S. dollars; local prices and currency may vary):

• Monthly — $4.99 per month
• Annual — $39.99 per year

The following terms apply to all subscriptions:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the rate of your selected plan.
• You can manage or cancelyour subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your device’s Account Settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Prices are subject to change; we will give notice of any change, and increases apply only to subsequent billing periods.

Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.

You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to disrupt or compromise the service, access it through unauthorized means, scrape or bulk-export content, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

The app, its content, sentences, audio, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Your license to use the app does not transfer any ownership to you.

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will achieve any particular learning outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, K12TeacherTools LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
