Privacy Policy

• Account information. When you create an account we use Clerk, our authentication provider, to store your email address and (optionally) your name. Your password, if any, is managed entirely by Clerk and never seen by us.
• Learning activity. We store your study progress — which sentences you have reviewed, your spaced-repetition schedule, saved vocabulary, and similar data — so the app can track what to show you next.
• Purchase information. If you buy a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple and our billing provider (RevenueCat). We receive a record that a purchase occurred and its status. We never receive or store your full payment-card details.
• Technical data. Like most apps, our servers automatically log basic technical information (such as request times and error diagnostics) needed to operate and secure the service.

• To provide and personalize your learning experience.
• To save and sync your progress across sessions and devices.
• To process subscriptions and provide customer support.
• To maintain the security, reliability, and performance of the app.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the app work — our authentication provider (Clerk), our subscription provider (RevenueCat), Apple (for purchases), our cloud hosting and storage providers, and our text-to-speech providers used to generate audio. Each processes data only as needed to perform its function. We may also disclose information if required by law.

We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

• You can access and update your account details from within the app.
• You can request a copy of your data, or its deletion, by emailing us.
• You can cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

Schools use LinguaTracker as a classroom tool. In that setting a teacher creates each student’s account and hands them a username and a password. A student never signs up, never gives an email address, and is never asked to verify anything.

For a student account we store only: a display name chosen by the teacher (such as “Emma R.”), a generated username, a one-way encrypted form of the password, which class they belong to, and their study progress. We do notcollect a student’s email address, last name, date of birth, age, phone number, location, contacts, or photos. We do not show advertising, and we do not sell or share student information.

Because a teacher creates these accounts under their school’s authority, the school is responsible for any parental notice or consent its policies require. A teacher can rename or delete a student account at any time, and deleting it removes the record.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Outside a classroom, LinguaTracker accounts are for people aged 13 and over. Inside one, a student’s account is created by their teacher and holds only what is listed above.

If you are a parent or guardian and want to see, correct, or delete what is held for your child, contact your child’s teacher, who can delete the account outright, or write to us at reecep@k12teachertools.com and we will act on it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
